Yes Hoyte had a really good game, McEachran doesnt waste the ball which I like.

main was isolated up front don't think Ledesma suits the role he was asked to play. defence looked good apart from the first goal and midfield was solid but unspectacular. McEachran played on the right at the start was ok but much better in the middle. for me we were good value for the win even if we had to rely on two quality strikes

yeah it's early days for the back 4, well it is for the whole team. we can't expect miracles with half a new team and a handfull of youngsters. Burnley are a very good team in this league and we controled the game for the most of it. we didn't create loads of clear cut chances but some of our passing play was really impressive. we need to get another 3 points on the board on saturday. More consistency required!!

first 40 mins were slow and boring, went down for a pint and missed the 23 goals, second half came out played well, McEachren is great on the ball, woodgate and Williams at the back solid, friend made a couple of mistakes, but likes to get forward which is good, hoyte FANTASTIC !! (supprised), bailey too many mistakes, Ledesma looked out of place in his role, same with Main, however i have to say they were a very organised defence Burnley, hence all 3 goals being long distance, and a team with a weaker defence ie Palace will struggle against them two
