Венгер: Дзампарини лъже за Дибала

Мениджърът на Арсенал Арсен Венгер отрече слуховете, че „артилеристите” са отправили оферта за аржентинския нападател Пауло.
„Дзампарини казал, че ние сме направили предложение за Дибала? Помолете го да покаже това предложение. Ние абсолютно не сме сторили такова нещо”, каза Венгер, цитиран от Goal.com.
Този сезон 21-годишният футболист на Палермо вкара 12 гола в 27 мача в Серия А.
Венгер: Стърлинг е един от най-добрите

Мениджърът на Арсенал Арсен Венгер определи нападателя на Ливърпул Рахим Стърлинг като един от най-добрите, но настоя да не бъде въвличан в спекулации за бъдещето на футболиста. Стърлинг разкри в сряда, че е отхвърлил оферта от 137 хил. паунда седмична премия
на Ливърпул и ще вземе окончателно решение за бъдещето си през лятото.
Венгер заяви, че в момента е загрижен за неутрализирането на английския национал в съботния мач срещу Ливърпул. „Стърлинг е топ играч, но не искам да коментирам случващото се около него 48 часа преди двубоя. Изпитвам голям респект към Ливърпул, но в момента съм фокусиран върху двубоя и нашето представяне в него”, заяви френският специалист.
Контузените в Арсенал подновиха тренировки, само Уелбек е готов за Ливърпул

Мениджърът Арсен Венгер зарадва привържениците на тима, след като заяви, че всички футболисти на Арсенал са здрави и тренират.
Контузените доскоро Матийо Дебюши, Микел Артета, Джак Уилшър, Алекс Окслейд-Чембърлейн и Абу Диаби са подновили занимания със съотборниците си, но никой от тях не е готов за дербито с Ливърпул в събота.
Единствено Дани Уелбек ще може да вземе участие в мача. Нападателят получи лек удар в квалифиационната среща с Литва в петък, в която отбеляза един и подаде за още един гол. Заради травмата той не пътува със съотборниците си от националния отбор за контролата с Италия в Торино.
Относно предстоящото домакинство на Ливърпул, Венгер изказа възхищението си от капитана на гостите Стивън Джерард, когото определи като играч, на който може да се разчита.
"Когато е трудно, в Ливърпул винаги се обръщат към Джерард. В 9 от 10 ситуации той не ги разочарова", каза френският специалист.
Джерард обаче ще пропусне визитата на Арсенал, тъй като трябва да изтърпи наказание от 3 мача за червения картон, който получи в последния мач на тима си - дербито с Манчестър Юнайтед.
Именно Арсенал, Ливърпул и Юнайтед водят битка за последните две места, даващи право на участие в Шампионската лига през следващия сезон. По този повод Венгер изказа очакването си тимът му да продължи със силните си игри и да спечели срещата.
"Впечатлени сме от представянето на Ливърпул, но нашата цел е да запазим фокуса си от последните срещи и постигнем нов добър резултат. Докато не сме си осигурили и математически дадено постижение, то трябва да продължаваме да се борим", добави Венгер.

София. Скаутът на Арсенал за Източна Европа Павел Кучеров ще гледа двубоят от втория кръг от плейофната фаза на първенството между Левски и Черно море, съобщава ТВ7.
Мачът, който е от втората шестица на шампионата е на 3 април (петък) от 20:00 часа.
Според информацията агентът най-напред ще бъде в Благоевград, където ще изгледа контролата между формациите до 17 години на България и Македония.
Този двубой ще бъде проследен на живо и от Джон Морлинг, който търси таланти за друг английски клуб – Брайтън.
И нещо изненадващо- Венгер може да предложи нов договор на Абу Диаби.За целта обаче трябва да поиграе и в някой мач до края на сезона!
Arsenal could offer Abou Diaby new deal, says Arsene Wenger

Despite playing just 67 minutes of soccer during the 2014-15 season and his current contract running out this summer, Abou Diaby could well be handed a new contract at Arsenal.

The French midfielder, 28, has been with the Gunners for over nine years but ever since badly breaking his ankle in 2006, he has suffered a string of injuries which has seen him play just twice in the past two seasons.
Ahead of Arsenal’s huge game with Liverpool on Saturday (Watch live, 7:45 a.m. ET on NBCSN and online via Live Extra) Diaby is back in training and his boss Arsene Wenger revealed that the midfielder could be offered a new deal to remain at the Emirates Stadium.
“I had a chat with him and told him how I can envisage the future,” Wenger said. “He has to make a decision. Of course he understands completely that he has to perform and to show that he can be present on a consistent way. I will see where we go from there. I wouldn’t like to go into details, we have to meet again to see where we go from what I told him. It has to be linked a little bit with his presence.”
The Diaby dilemma is an intriguing one. His list of injuries is horrific and you have to question whether he can ever truly get back to the level he displayed in his early Arsenal days after arriving from Auxerre. Yet if he can, and Wenger obviously believes this otherwise talk of a new deal would not be on the table, then Diaby would provide the Gunners with the added steel they’ve been screaming out for in central midfield. He is 6 foot 4 inches tall, has an incredible engine on him and can play in a variety of positions in midfield. However he will most likely play in the holding role as and when he returns to the team and Wenger should give him a good run of games in the final eight matches of the season as Diaby provides something the Gunners do not currently possess: a destructive midfielder who can shield the back four and help spring attacks.
If Diaby proves his fitness, then signing him to a new deal would be much cheaper than going out and buying Morgan Schneiderlin (likely to cost upwards of $30 million) to play in the holding midfield role. Arsenal’s frugality is a thing of the past but when you have an international caliber midfielder at the club and you’ve stuck by him throughout horrendous bad luck with injuries, surely you have to offer him at least a new one-year deal to prove his worth next season?

SUMMARY
Four first-team players continued their rehabilitation from injury by helping an Arsenal XI beat Brentford 4-0 on Tuesday.
Mikel Arteta, Jack Wilshere, Mathieu Debuchy and Abou Diaby started alongside Mathieu Flamini and several members of Steve Gatting’s under-21 squad, including January signing Krystian Bielik.
Wilshere gave the Gunners an early lead with a delicate finish before setting up Daniel Crowley for a second. Alex Iwobi then struck twice at the end of the first half to give Arsenal a comfortable lead going into the break.
Arteta, Wilshere and Diaby were withdrawn at half-time as planned, while Debuchy and Flamini played an hour on a valuable afternoon at London Colney.
FIRST HALF
The friendly was a first chance for Arsène Wenger’s men to regain match fitness after spells on the sidelines, and they started strongly.
Flamini latched on to Diaby’s lay-off and powered a deflected strike towards goal. Jack Bonham could only parry it as far as Wilshere who shifted the ball on to his left foot and curled into the top corner.
Wilshere then played a part in Arsenal’s second, too. The midfielder played a quick one-two on the edge of the box with Crowley and the teenager fired under Bonham to double the hosts’ advantage.
The Gunners looked dominant and added two more before half-time. Iwobi tricked his way into the box and found the far corner with a low strike, before racing on to Diaby’s clever pass to score again 16 minutes later.
SECOND HALF
As planned, Arteta, Wilshere and Diaby were withdrawn at half-time with a valuable 45 minutes under their belts and a younger XI entered the fray to build on Arsenal’s lead.
Chris Willock led the charge, bursting into the box and combining with Stephy Mavididi before being scythed down by Alan McCormack. The forward had a chance to add a fifth from the spot but Bonham got down well to save.
The goalkeeper then pushed away Mavididi’s long-range drive before Austin Lipman twisted inside the box and rattled a curling strike off the far post.
Brentford almost pulled one back in the final minutes when Jermaine Udumaga created a yard of space on the edge of the box, but Matt Macey reacted well to tip the forward’s powerful drive past the post.
