I'll try and cut through the hysteria and bellendery for you.
1) FSG are no bad owners. They are not taking money out. They spend income
2) The money has been spent badly, though. Recruitment process at LFC is flawed at its heart. Too many short cuts. Short cuts rarely work
3) The thought process of owners has changed from a long to medium term plan to short to medium. Sale not imminent but now sooner than later
4) In eagerness to get things right, Mike Gordon has had more influence on football side of things. I'm all for transferable skills but...
5) The concern is that Rodgers will start season with a squad he doesn't believe in. Is he pragmatic enough to make it work? He did for a spell last season but then it fell apart.
6) Hard to escape belief that seasoned chief exec and better scouting would have put club in better place. But that's conjecture, I suppose
7) And last point. Where did scouts come from? Man City. It always bothers me when a club that can outpay you choose not to. Nagging feeling
