Liverpool are reportedly planning a £37m summer move for Real Madrid star Isco in a bid to make him their costliest signing. It is understood that the Merseyside outfit will make a huge offer to land the 21 year old Spanish international provided the club attains its goal of Champions League next season.

Isco has apparently been unhappy at the Bernabeau of late with the lack of game time and has only started one league game this year. The highly rated midfielder would obviously not mind a move away if the pattern continues for long and he gets to spend more time on the bench than on the field. The run of good form of former Tottenham star Luka Modric also poses to be an insecurity factor for Isco. Carlo Ancelotti has struggled to accommodate Isco in his recent preferred 4-3-3 formation and there is increasing talk that the player and Madrid are ready to part company if the situation does not improve

Brendan Rodgers has identified the 21 year old as an ideal long term replacement for club captain Steven Gerrard, and is hoping that he is able to prize the highly rated midfielder away from Madrid to Liverpool. The promise of potential Champions League football, Premier League action and more game time would interest the former Malaga man.

Liverpool will face Manchester City and Milan as competition to get the player to their ranks, with Manchester City the more serious contenders as Isco’s former manager at Malaga was City manager Manuel Pellegrini. City have kept Isco on their radar during the course of the season and are likely to move for him in the summer. Pellegrini tried to get Isco to Manchester in the summer as well and the links to the midfielder were always the subject of transfer-talk until Real snatched the player. Upon the move to Real, Isco himself confirmed City’s interest:

“It’s the maximum. I’m joining the world’s biggest football club and I hope I will help the team and learn a lot. I’m 21 but I feel I’m prepared to play here. I had other offers from other teams but it was hard to say no to Real Madrid.

“Pellegrini was keen to take me to Manchester but once I knew Real Madrid were interested I didn’t think twice.”

Liverpool therefore have a tough battle on their hands if they want to get the player to Merseyside but a bid of €45m (£37m) clearly shows ambition for next season. The Reds are sitting comfortably on the 4th spot and are being viewed by everyone as outside contenders or dark horses for the Premier League title. Brendan Rodgers said recently that Champions League next season would the club attract quality players:

“If we can get to that elite competition, then of course it attracts a different type of player as well. It’s very important and hopefully it will be this year.”

If Liverpool do indeed get to Champions League next season, they would give City a good fight for the attainment of the 21 year old Spaniard who had been rated from his younger days to go on to do great things.

Не вярвам. Все пак Реал го купиха преди по-малко от година, пък едва ли и играча ще се навие да дойде, но иначе подкрепям и с двете ръце този трансфер.

Твърде е хубаво за да е истина, че можем да вземем играч като Иско и то за тези пари..... Нямам никакви надежди за толко добър млад играч, а и другото което е това сигурно ще е 80 % от бюджета за летни трансфери и не вярвам да се хвърлят само за един играч, защото скамейката ни е ужасно къса

Две неща. Ице от Реал няма да го вземете, щото няма да го продадат - тука работата не е като с Митьо Очите - тоя е испанец , а Реал е добре да имат по някой испанец в състава, за публиката Второ, защитата за играта на Брендо е от барселонски тип и ако вкарате опорни халфове да ви играят отзад ( както е в Барса ) - с тия ниски опорни халфове в защита толкова ще инкасирате, че ще ви заподозрат в точене на ДДС

Слухове за интерес към Валдес(О Боже мой, защо ни е втори Рейна?) и малкия брат на Тиаго Алкантара - Рафиня, който е дефанзивен халф(или вътрешен).....

Много трудно би се осъществил този трансфер,Реал няма да го дадат...

Това е страхотен играч, но това са прекалено много пари. При положение че на нац ни трябват поне 3-4 калсни. ако висчките са такива суми няма да стане
