Ian Wright wants Arsenal to sign Raheem Sterling
Arsenal legend Ian Wright wants his former club to sign Liverpool ace Raheem Sterling this summer.
Taking to Twitter, the ex-Gunners striker suggested that Arsene Wenger should land the versatile England forward and play him in the position that he wants.

Sterling's long term future in the game has been the subject of great debate, with reports claiming that he's ready to reject a new deal at Anfield despite the club ready to offer him a huge financial package to stay at the club for the foreseeable future.

And, of late, reports have claimed that the Arsenal chief does have an interest in the talented youngster, with the likes of Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Manchester City all seemingly interested in his signature.
GET HIM, WENGER
It remains to be seen as to whether any of the clubs step up their interest in the Liverpool man anytime soon, but thing's for sure is that Wright would love to see Sterling move to north London.
Wright tweeted: "Come on arsene ! Go in and get " Raheem the dream Sterling " from Liverpool and play him where he wants !"

There's no doubt about it, the Sterling saga doesn't seem likely to go away anytime soon, but Liverpool certainly have a fight on their hands as they attempt to keep him on Merseyside.
A GREAT FIT
It's obvious really, but of course Sterling would prove a class signing for the Gunners. With things not looking great for Theo Walcott at the moment, the Liverpool man would no doubt suit the club's style of play alongside the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Co.
Don't expect Liverpool to give up on keeping him, though, as losing him to their rivals would certainly damage the club.
Sterling would no doubt have a great future if he stayed on at Anfield, but he certainly appears to be keen to assess his options, and he could do a lot worse than Arsenal.

Various reports indicate Sterling's time at Anfield could be coming to an end
Raheem Sterling's contract stand-off with Liverpool has hit a new low - and Arsenal could be poised to take advantage if reports are to be believed.
The England winger has been locked in negotiations for the past couple of months with Reds boss Brendan Rodgers previously telling reporters that Sterling had been handed an "incredible" offer.
Rodgers admitted a couple of weeks ago that the situation was unlikely to be resolved between now and the end of the season but, according to the Daily Mail, negotiations have now taken a turn for the worse.

Liverpool have already made an offer of £90,000-a-week but the paper reports that even if Liverpool were to offer Sterling £180,000-a-week - one of the biggest deals in club history - the 20-year-old would turn it down

Sterling, who has two years left to run on his current £35,000-a-week deal, is believed to be increasingly concerned by Rodgers' decision to play him at wing-back in recent weeks.
Arsene Wenger could now be ready to pounce on the breakdown and make a move for the youngster in the summer.
According to the Daily Mirror, Arsenal have made 'discreet enquiries' about Sterling, who is also wanted by Manchester City, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
City are likely to make a bid in the summer, but Arsenal believe they have a trump card with Liverpool interested in Theo Walcott, who is also locked in negotiations over a new deal, and the fact they are a London club, where Sterling grew up after moving from Jamaica as a five-year-old.
Arsenal and Liverpool's relationship is at a low, however, over the Luis Suarez bid in the summer of 2013 - the Gunners made a £40,000,001 bid that prompted Liverpool owner John W. Henry to send out an infamous message on social media.
"What do you think they're smoking over there at Emirates," he wrote.
Sterling will not play in the England friendly against Italy, having returned to Liverpool after scoring in the 4-0 win over Lithuania. He will be available for Liverpool's match at the Emirates on Saturday.

David Thompson has warned Arsenal and other potential suitors that Liverpool forward Raheem Sterling is worth up to £80m.
The England international has been linked with a controversial move to the north Londoners in recent weeks amid growing uncertainty surrounding his Anfield future.
According to Sky Sports, 20-year-old Liverpool forward Sterling won’t be entering into negotiations with the Reds over a new contract until the end of the season.
Reacting to reports that Sterling has already rejected a £180,000-a-week deal, former Liverpool midfielder Thompson suggested that the Merseyside club should demand a huge fee if the winger is set to leave.
Thompson wrote on Twitter: “If reports are true and Raheem has turned down 180k a week at Lfc then Lfc have every right to value him at 70/80 million now.
“In my opinion if you price yourself out of a contract the club have every right to command an acceptable fee to reflect that!”
Sterling has become an integral part of the Liverpool side over the past 18 months after breaking into the Red side under Brendan Rodgers.
The England forward has scored six goals and has made seven assists in 27 Premier League appearances so far this season.
